Telecentres

Telecentres (public or non-profit networks of public access computing centres) benefit directly from employing the free CyberCafePro 6 Suite:

  • CyberCafePro and CyberCafePro Online provide daily metrics about people served, programs used, websites visited, hours open, busiest times and much more.
  • Telecentres centrally capture social metrics to measure the reach of their efforts in serving their communities.
  • Whether staffed by volunteers or paid employees, CyberCafePro provides the information needed to better manage.
  • CyberCafePro Online provides convenient 24x7 online access to all telecentres within the network -- the only enterprise solution to managing multi-locations. (User log-ons define which locations are authorized for viewing.)
  • Training is minimal as CyberCafePro is easy and intuitive.

OneRoof Bookmarks which opens to browsers is customizable by Telecentres, e.g. swapping the OneRoof Bookmarks logo for a logo or photo of the Telecentre Network -- and adding a Welcome line and message (e.g. Hours and Days open). Faster Search is delivered for all Internet users via simply switching between Google, Yahoo, Bing, YouTube, Image or Wikipedia results. Included Free.

There are 3 options regarding the CyberCafePro AdBar that delivers banner advertisements at the bottom of Client desktops:

  • 100% Free. If AdBar is left on, the entire CyberCafePro Suite is Free. National, Local and the Telecentre's own advertising banners are cycled on the AdBar.
    • Internal Promotions. Telecentres receive up to 25,000 free banner impressions per month per location for internal banner messages to their user audience (e.g. hours open, educational services, public announcements, etc.)
    • Local Advertising. If the telecentre sells ads to local businesses for placement on the AdBar network, 50% of the proceeds for the placements are earned as commissions by the Telecentre – thus providing an additional income stream.
  • No AdBar – Off is a fee-based option in which the AdBar is turned off and does not appear on the Client computer desktops. If chosen, no internal or Local Advertising banners are shown. (Annual fee USD $99 or 55 Euros; $59-$79 in countries with lower per capita income.)
  • Captive AdBar. For the same fee (Annual fee USD $99 or 55 Euros; $59-$79 in countries with lower per capita income), a Telecentre network can choose to control the placement of 100% of the banners delivered – thus operating a captive advertising channel. (If ads are sold, all revenues are kept by the Telecentre under this option.)
